About Coach

I've been working in health, fitness, and injury rehab since 2009, which has allowed me to work with a large spectrum of individuals (just starting their fitness journey to the well-seasoned/experienced), just like we see with our members at CFFG. This has helped me develop concepts and strategies to recognize a client's preferred learning and motivational strategy. My work in the clinical/injury rehab space allows me to be very accurate/precise with any niggling injuries/aches or movement inefficiencies, along with how to get back on track.

I grew up playing and captaining representative soccer teams, with my highlight playing against the Central Coast Mariners.

Turning Point

Just weeks before I injured my knee playing soccer (required surgery), I remember being so frustrated at practice, knowing that I could and would rather be at the evening CFFG class. Once I finished rehabbing my knee, I never went back to soccer and instead started preparing for the first of many team CrossFit competitions.

Motivation & Passion

I love coaching because I understand that having someone who holds me accountable is an extremely motivating and adherence-promoting factor. If someone is enthused to spend an hour of their day attending one of my classes, then I want to ensure that it's as close to the best hour of their day as I can make it.

I also feel that with my background/training/education, I'm well placed to assist any member who is seeking improvement, whether that's better health or performance.
